LORI CITRO, Singer/Songwriter, Pianist
Lori quit her secure day job as a Lab technician at DuPont, took her retirement portfolio, and left for New York City to pursue her passion for music at the NYC Center for Media Arts. Lori is a member of GoGirls Music, Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance, Baltimore Songwriters Association, February Album Writing Month.org, as well as ASCAP. Lori currently has hundreds of songs in her catalog, and September 29th was the release of her third CD "Red Shoes". Lori’s interests also include the theater, which she performs regularly, and has converted her live show, with her band “The Accidentals” into a musical theatrical performance that she debuted at her CD release party in Kennett Square PA, and plans to repeat at special locations. With the help of her band “The Accidentals”, Lori's songs have a unique style, with an indie type influence - the songs evoke the emotions of her life’s experiences on love, relationships, hopes, and dreams.
