Josh Young has been performing and singing country music since age 14 when he sang for the Dixz Hwy Band out of Fairfield, Ohio.
At 16 he recorded his first solo CD in Nashville under the direction of Dave Lindsey. Josh had the opportunity to showcase his new music at the famed Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville and has played to numerous crowds throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Upon his return from Nashville, Josh joined the Centerline Band in which he sang for 4yrs. In 2008 Josh decided to take a break from constant gigging and his day job as a radio personality for Indiana radio and move to the sunny shores of Florida. After a quick stint in the land of the oranges, Josh decided to return to his Mid Western roots in Cincinnati and begin working on his 2nd solo effort.
For Josh it all started at age 12 when his aunt passed away; "It was a very hard time for me and I realized that you only live once so live life to the fullest and do what you love to do, and that's what I am doing." He has always had a love for singing, and some of his best memories are sitting at his grandparents' learning guitar. "I can remember sitting at my Grandma and Grandpa's singing 'Chattahoochee' with my Grandpa's guitar."
Family is important to Josh and he remains close to his mom who he refers to as his "best friend" and his grandparents.
