(Regarding A Solo Piece for Cello) “Well done, Troy. Very powerful ( and well conceived for the instrument). “ - James Erber (Composer, UK)
“A Piece for Solo Cello is a masterwork...written to be played by a cello... this is music of our time..not just effects” - Vito Palumbo (Composer, Italy)
"Your music is an inspiration.” - Steven Psaila (Composer, Malta)
"Troy, I'm LOVING your string quartet miniatures! Such expressive writing. Same with your piano fantasy. I think your language makes so much intuitive sense, despite obviously being very carefully worked out. That's a pretty amazing balance!” - Monica Hymas Rasmussen (Composer / Pianist, USA)
"I have a persistent fascination with A Short Piece for Orchestra. It’s so dense and rewarding! Obviously not a moment wasted. The stacked harmonies during the held chords in the strings almost remind me of the IRCAM/spectral sound world. It’s so very rich, really quite textbook. Beautiful Job.” - Gleb Kanasevich (Composer / Clarinetist, USA and Belarus)
