Roadside Manor / Bio

“The Comet Kahoutek appeared to Earthlings in 1973 and will do so again in about 75,000 more years. This is roughly the same frequency with which a ‘local band’ headlines the venerable New Haven rock club called Toad's Place”. This “local band” is Roadside Manor. They’ve accomplished this feat twice. This is their story...

Drawing from roots of old school rock, reggae and bluegrass, the unique style of Roadside Manor has emerged. Guitar player Peter Trabucchi and drummer Eric “Booty” Cartier formed Roadside Manor in early 2007, playing under the name at a local coffeehouse. In June of the same year, Roadside Manor invited member Henry Hotkowski III, playing banjo (electric and acoustic), harmonica and lead vocals. Since then the band has played shows all over New England, including headlining gigs at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT as well as the famous Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT. To ring in the New Year of 2012, the band added its newest member, Brendan Albetski. Brendan solidifies the bottom end on bass guitar, but is also a multi-instrumentalist playing keyboard, guitar and singing as well. Roadside Manor’s eclectic style and entertaining theatrics always provide for a good show.
