The President / Bio

Nick Kermelewicz, widely known as his onstage persona, The President, is a 22-year-old recording artist from Boston, MA.

Blending his own brand of rap and hip hop, The President has made appearances throughout the Northeast, headlining The Harp in Boston, as well as opening for notable artists such as Aer, Fred the Godson, and fellow Boston rapper, Slaine.

His most recent release, a mixtape entitled “Elevated,” follows his two previous mixtapes “Revenge” (2012) and “Portrait of My Life.” (2010)

The President released his first video for the track “Show Me” last November. His latest video for “That’s That,” which was uploaded this past September, has already racked up over 10,000 views on YouTube.

Featured on noted websites such as Barstoolsports.com and Freshflows.com, The President also beat out over 20 other artists for the title of ‘Champion of 2012’ on Patch.com’s Video Battle of the Bands for his video “You Can Change That.”

This past October, he was named the winner of the “Get the Hook Up” Contest Show hosted by Scene Machine Magazine in Providence, RI. He also lent his talents to “Sing For the Cure,” a show to raise awareness and funds to help fight breast cancer, hosted by international Playboy model, Ashley Alexiss.
