Tom Hoa Binh & The Peacemakers was formed in April 2012 by Tom Smith, a disabled Vietnam Veteran who experiences PTSD and is in recovery. His songs are a country-folk genre.
To promote better understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Tom reaches out to people through his songs. His debut album, "The Door To Hoa Binh" is available on Reverbnation and his website www.tomhoabinhandthepeacemakers.com
Tom Hoa Binh (Tom Smith) was a door gunner crew chief in Vietnam and has readjusted to living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by treatment, group therapy and songwriting/poetry. From all accounts, he is recovering nicely and sharing his walled up emotions through his songs.
His current project is Operation Song, a non-profit organization based in Nashville which helps Veterans with PTSD write songs about their experiences. Operation Song can be found at www.operationsong.org
