Emily Madronich / Bio

Emily is a 17 year singer/song writer from Port Colborne, Ontario. Emily just returned from a 3 month school volunteer mission in Dominica in the Carribean where she co-wrote Break da Riddim with Kenneth Gussie. Emily then worked with Rob Sheele of Redsonic Studios in Port Colborne to do the final recording and engineering.

In 2013, her song "Where I Stand" was selected as a semifinalist in the prestigious UK songwriting competition. She also played several shows including opening for Juno nominee, "Hey Ocean", and was selected to perfrom at Songstudio 2013 at Hugh's room. Emily was nominated for “Rising Star” at the 2012 Niagara Music Awards and was selected to perform at Toronto Songstudio 2012 showcase. She was also nominated for the Toronto Independent Music Awards (TIMA 2012) in the young songwriter category and was a finalist at the Canadian Folk Music Awards 2012.

Although much of her music has been composed on a ukulele, Emily also plays piano. With an eclectic appreciation of music, she enjoys music ranging from Folk, Hip Hop, and Indie music to Heavy Metal.

Emily is working on her first album at Redsonic Studios.
