Liv And The Drummer / Bio

Though they've been playing in bands together since they were 9 and 7 years old, Liv and The Drummer has been Liv and Henry Miner's most serious band to date. LATD has been together since April 2011 when they played their first show in Deep Ellum. Over the past couple of years they've had 5 different bass players, but at the beginning of 2013 they found Tyler Uribe and despite the short amount of time he has been in the band, it's looking like Tyler is here to stay.

Liv and The Drummer stays true to their rock n roll roots while making their various influences known. Liv's bluesy, powerhouse vocals accentuate her raunchy guitar riffs, and the rhythm section is solid with Henry's no holds barred, hip-hop influenced beats and Tyler's funk influenced hard driving bass style. While it's hard to compare LATD to any other band out there, they describe their music as being influenced by 60s, 70s and 80s rock and roll. With a performance driven set line-up guaranteed to keep a room energized, LATD is ready to play til they drop in hopes of reviving real rock and roll.
