I started listening to hip hop when I was 12. The first song I heard was "Blow Job Betty" by Too Short. I was hooked. I then started to freestyle into a little tape recorder daily while driving after discovering Atmosphere and learning about Eyedea(RIP) when I was 18. Since then I've made many a tracks each one breaking the barriers of the previous one which is still the case. I still love to freestyle and alot of times my freestyles turn out better sounding than my written stuff. I always carrier a hand held digital recorder with me, my ipod and sometimes some speakers so if I feel like i can put tunes on and liven things up. Mobile cypher ya dig :)
Up until about 7 months ago rap was mostly just a hobby. Now I'm very serious about it. I've been in 6 MC tournaments and won my share of battles but haven't taken the trophy yet. I can write battle rhymes but it's very nominal to me these days. I might get back into it sometime soon. We'll see. Now I'm just focused on networking and supporting local music and expanding on what I know. I will be going to school to learn about production soon. I know exactly what I want to do and where I want to take my career and I'm doing that, so If your reading this and feel the same hit me up lets collab (don't be shy). I love the shit out of hiphop. Just starting to do gigs. First headlining coming up. Looking for female vocalists as well as heads that can keep pace with my style.
