Sometimes a song, chord, or even single note touches a place in your soul and, if even for a moment, provides convergence of the senses allowing you to become fully immersed.” –unknown
Hailing from Seattle, Washington, The Danger’s sole mission is to create a musical experience that takes you on a journey from high-energy guitar driven rock, all the way to an emotional blues ballad that tugs at your heartstrings.
The Danger was originally formed in 2008 as “Zariah”, but disbanded in early 2013. After a much-needed break, Travis Roberson (vocals/guitars) and Bob Givnin (Drums) decided to re-form the band in the summer of 2013 and began the search for their missing pieces. It wasn’t too long before they ran across guitarist Dano. They immediately realized that Dano’s sound and song writing style was exactly what they were looking for. In the months that came after, the band began shaping their sound and learning how to combine their different styles and influences into a cohesive musical experience. The road was rocky and full of stumbling blocks, but as the days, weeks, and months wore on, Travis, Bob, and Dano continued to shape their unique sound into something special.
February 2014 saw the biggest and most amazing change that put the final missing piece into the puzzle. Kelly Rust, a former woodwind musician and avid music enthusiast, decided to pick up a bass guitar, and from day one she was plucking through the music with very little issue. This simplistic, yet solid playing style changed everything about how the music sounded and felt, and it was then that The Danger knew they needed to take a chance and immediately welcomed her into the band.
Currently, The Danger is writing new material and polishing their sound. 2014 will see the band in the studio, as well as an emergence into the live music scene.
The future is set and the message is clear: The Danger is coming.
