Dalton Poff is the founder of BULLET. His BULLET band originated in 1994 with many different lineups throughout the years. They were picked up by Stables, now Take 20 in Cherry Valley, IL to be the house band. Since, BULLET has been rocking the stateline area every Saturday night. Dalton has been playing for over twenty years with local bands like "The Few", "Asterik", "The Firebillies" and "The Firebirds". His high melodic voice and ability to make a Les Paul sing give a solid foundation to the appeal of BULLET. His high-energy show and 1-2-3 delivery spills over to the crowd and soon they are involved in the enthusiastic fun.
Dean Reynolds played lead guitar through the 70’s with Sind Sun, Buster Brown, the switched to Bass guitar in 1981 and joined The Daggers. He then moved on in 1982 and formed BADGE with Mike Case, John Meyers, Dave Dannenberg, and Randy Sundae. In 1983 Dean joined Wheezer Lockinger with Dave “COLONEL” Leis, local guitarist extraordinaire. In 1990, Dean joined Paul Harrison in a band TRIBUTE! Time passed and he joined the original BULLET for several years before retiring. Now, life has come full circle and Dean is back with BULLET.
Mitch Whittington joined BULLET in 2004 with 34 years experience in the music business. His former bands include Sudden Impact, The Edge, Acme Demolition, Mule Skinners, Split Decision and Secret Remedy. He's played clubs such as Bourbon Street, L.T.'s and on the Waterfront. He cut a album with Sudden Impact, and also a full-page write up in Ram Magazine about The Edge was made.
Two years in a row, on April 19th, 2001 and April 18th, 2002, BULLET was honored with the RAMI Award for the "Best Classic Rock Band" in the Rockford, Illinois area. Because of their combined twenty-plus years of experience, BULLET delivers all of the energy and talent that their fans truly deserve.
