16-year old Brian J possesses vocal talent along with instrumental production and song-writing that spans far beyond his years, proving that age is nothing but a number when it comes to performing. Ever since he picked up his first pair of drum sticks and was able to play the keys of a piano, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life .
Surrounded by music since birth, Brian's mother being a solo vocalist and in a band while his father, also a vocalist and a disc jockey, inspired him to make the music he does today. Being mutli-talented, he did not waste any time as he went into recording music in his own home studio, being self-taught on programs and mixing vocals. It was at the age of 12 that he started experimenting with recording and released his first mix-tape at the age of 13.
After realizing his abilities, his work ethic was his strength and his growing fan base kept him going. From that day to present day, he has released 5 projects from EP's and mix-tapes to full albums. His most recent project titled “Just Me” was released on March 15, 2013. This album is on iTunes, Google Play and much more. The buzz went around about his album and brought him to be on radio shows, blogs, websites and being booked for multiple shows around Connecticut and New York, including his biggest performance yet in the 'New London Talent Show', an annual show that is performed at a venue called the Garde Arts Theater, this show drawing in over 1000 attendee's each year.
Without stopping to take a breath, work had already begun for his next album. “12 A.M” an album that will consist of 16 songs fully made by Brian from the initial production to the final product. His videography and photography skills will show with his album, as he will be using his visions for in-depth music videos for songs off of the album, the album artwork also fully made by him. Brian also uses his in-home studio to record other local artists, he calls the studio “The Hit Room”
His ambition and devotion to music has shown him to be one that is truly looking to have music be his career and his want to bring his movement to the next level.
