“And in the end, the love you take
Is equal to the love you make.”
The Beatles, Abbey Road “The End”
All good things must end, and such is the case for The Jay and Neil Show. (Although we prefer to think of it as more of a hiatus than a goodbye. We’ll be back… we just don’t know when yet.)
The good news is you’ll still have a chance to see us through the end of August, as we’re playing several shows between now and then. After that, Neil will continue to gig out and about as a solo artist, with the duo George N’ Peach, and with another duo to be announced shortly; Jay will head into the studio to record a solo CD, due out next spring.
Check our schedule, come see us and raise a toast with us…

Live act The Jay and Neil Show features the two musicians, each with more than 20 years of performing all over the U.S. Jay and Neil's memorable performances reflect their vast experiences with audiences of all types. Their song list features rock and pop cover songs, from as far back as Elvis to as as recent as Coldplay. (Check out our partial song list, ünder "Recent Blogs" below)
The Jay and Neil Show performs as a two-man band, with a full sound that rivals many bands with more members.
Jay plays bass, guitar and sings, as well as demonstrating his expert skills at humorous monologue and working the crowd. Not to be outdone, Neil plays guitar, ukulele, bass, and commands an array of devices that expand The Jay and Neil Show to well beyond the sound of typical duos. And it's all done with nothing prerecorded, save for a drum machine accompaniment.
Jay was formerly a member of such Denver area bands as Cedar Avenue Blues Band and HighRaceVine, as well as host of several musician showcases and open mics in the Denver area. Neil was formerly one-half of Pairadeux, a female/male duo, as well as a former lead guitarist for Potcheen, a leading Colorado-based Celtic rock band that gigs nationwide. All of these acts have ReverbNation Web sites.
Come see The Jay and Neil Show for an entertaining evening with the music you love. And don't hesitate to give us a shout if you need entertainment for your wedding, corporate function, festival, or similar event.
We do have ONE WARNING when booking The Jay and Neil Show: the resulting urge to dance and have a good time may be too much to resist.
