“…intoxicating …a non-stop homage to ‘real’ American music”

Equal parts gypsy troubadour & high plains drifter, Django growls and croons while the band brings together elements of delta blues, Tin Pan Alley jazz, western folk, and old-time rock & roll into a lively, engaging set of drinking songs and narrow escapes, punctuated by guitars, horns and the occasional clinking of glasses. The western soul, jazz-infused, roots-rock repertoire fits its purveyor like an old pair of Levis. As reviewer Tim Brosnan put it, in his “Best of the Inbox” column, Django "... would be as comfortable busking some tunes on a corner on Skid Row as he would on the stage at Carnegie Hall"
So who is Django? Troubadour and raconteur, he pours little taste of the old west, and passes it around the room for everyone to get a sip. There’s no saloon or pretty woman that he can say no to, no jail that can hold him in, no barbed wire fence that can keep him out. He brings along an ace band, and leads them through a rocking set of tunes, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.
