Jael is an 20 year old Singer/Songwriter who has been writing and performing for over six years. Jael spent most of her growing up years in the state of Montana, but her music prevails in the state of Washington and down through the west coastal states.
Although Jaels main genre is songwriting indie music, she is now also in demand for recording hooks and chorus' for various hip hop artists around the United States. Jael's unique sound, clear tone and accurate pitch draws us all in to her music. Her songs are lyric driven, and inspired by personal experience, reaching to the core of emotions that each one of us has walked through in life. Jael's versatility is displayed in her writings of over 80 songs which range from pop to blues.
Jael has won numerous awards for her music, songwriting and performing. Some include Indie Artist of the Year by Tooth and Nail Records at Creationfest, finalist in "Show Me the Music" national competition, runner up for Oregon State Songwriters Competition, she won judges choice award in songwriting for Montana State fine arts competition, finalist in the national IMAs (Independent Music Awards) and top five in the North American Songwriters Competition. It was at the Texaco Country showdownon 2011, at the age of 14, that Jael won runner up and then again the next yeat in 2012 she received the same award. That began an incredible journey with her music, as she was discovered by an agent of a Nashville Record Label. Jael has toured extensively for three years and has recorded two singles and two EPs, all available on iTunes. Most recently Jael was a finalist in the Hard Rock Cafe battle of the bands for the USA NW region. She has recorded another full length album and released a new music video this past summer of 2016.
Jael enjoys long boarding, hiking, Ice skating, surfing and playing ice hockey.
Jael is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International and the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers. All of Jael's music is copywritten through the Library of Congress and is registered through ASCAP and Atrium Music for royalties.
