Motley Crue Tribute Band Wildside delivers all the hardcore old school Crue tunes you really want to hear. Wildside mixes it up right by playing Motley classics such as Looks That Kill, Dr. Feelgood, and Live Wire as well as hard-core deep cuts like Primal Scream, Bastard and Knock 'em Dead. Formed in 2001 as the 80's Metal cover band Wolfpack, then later renamed Metal Head, the band rocked the Concord area for a year playing smokin’ Metal classics such as Ozzy's Over the Mountain, Judas Priest's Breakin’ the Law and Dokken's Into the Fire. In late 2002 the band decided that the transition from cover band to tribute band would create a more defined identity for the band and give the local rock fans a band that they could really relate to. So in 2004 the band did just that. Wildside now consists of screamin’ Mark Merrit on vocals, shreddin' Scott Dashiell on guitar, jammin’ Jason Sahagon on drums, and head bangin’ Clint Baggarley on bass. "There's Motley tribute bands out there that look like the Crue, but we actually sound like the Crue," says Scott their guitarist. Hell-bent on keeping it real, the band immediately agreed that Wildside would first and foremost be a tribute to the MUSIC. Instead, this tribute band relies on only the music of Motley Crue, delivering raging note-for-note renditions of Crue classics, complete with high-pitched Metal screams, red-hot guitar solos, skull-crushing drum beats and thundering bass riffs. If ever there was a tribute band worth seeing over and over again, Wildside is it. Wildside plays the hardest, the heaviest, and the most classic Motley Crue songs of all time.
