Elliot Dickinson, John Macdonald, Kristina White, Nick Valladarez, and Greg Baker have emerged from various influences and backgrounds to bring the music of The Rosewoods to life. Many aspiring musicians are touched by the spirit of rock’n’roll but few create an original sound with as much heart as The Rosewoods. As first impressions from the Tampa Bay area have shown, this young group is sure to become a thriving act in the local music scene. In the winter of 2010 the group began writing and rehearsing its first batch of original songs and followed up the work with production of a home recording titled Why Do You Do It. By late October of 2011 the band was performing locally and making up for lost time as well. After their first two shows alone The Rosewoods were offered in-studio air time at the local FM radio station 88.5 WMNF and managed to be booked through to January of the following year. The Rosewoods are continuously writing and arranging material that will shape the sound of music for the next generation.
