If John Scofield grew up listening to Talking Heads, Phish, and Frank Zappa, it would be close to what fans hear in Knuckle Fuss’ folk, roots and jazz inspired improvisations and compositions. Knuckle Fuss at times prompts the audience into dancing oblivion, and others leave them motionless and stunned. The jamrock band is lead by Michigan-raised guitarist-and-rambler Chris Michels. Chris likes to keep it in the family, Drummer Alex Riesenbeck has been working with Chris since they were teenagers. Jimmy Olson is not unlike the Les Claypool of Keyboards, and Tj Rankin pops bubbleing boiling bass booms endlessly. Knuckle Fuss is gearing up for a 2016 Michigan Winter Tour, and working on their second studio album, expected in summer of the same year. Check out www.KnuckleFuss.com for all info on what the band is up to.
