This is another exciting year in the life of quickly rising and emerging country artist Pearl Clarkin. In 2015 ReverbNation named her #2 out of the top 154 bands in Nashville based on lyrical composition, performance history, fan support, musicianship and live performance. You can find her playing in downtown Nashville at Hard Rock Cafe unless you are in the mood for honky tonk then look for her at Tootsies. She is also an acclaimed songwriter and on the circuit on any given night just look for her at Bluebird, Commodore or any of the local spots for originals and showcases. She was recently compared to Bobbie Gentry by a major publisher while singing at Bluebird Cafe. Pearl has opened for CowBoy Troy and Charlie Daniels, and performed at the CMA Fest for the last 3 years at places like Storme Warren's Nashville Navy and on the Hard Rock Stage outdoors. Pearl headlined her own concert back home on Pensacola Beach before 4000 friends and fans and sings each year for the Pensacola Beach Songwriter's Festival and last year at the Navarre Beach Songwriter's Fest. You've seen her on GAC TV in Storme Warren's Country on the Beach Key West Event with Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Darryl Worley and Ray Scott. She also played at the World's largest Music Festival in Milwaukee at Summerfest. There is so much going on for Pearl, we certainly can't list it here but NASHVILLE HAS GONE CRAZY OVER HER !!! She has already been named one of the top unsigned artists in the country by CMT by placing in their Music City Madness singer/songwriter contest.
Pearl is a 6th generation Floridian born and raised on the white crystal sand of Pensacola Beach FL and has recently moved to attend college in Nashville. She is at home in both the gulf waters of the Redneck Riviera to the beautiful country side of Tennessee. Being a part of the south is something in her blood. Pearl considers herself the typical southern belle bombshell. Many of her songs have lyrical content about the south especially images of North Florida like in her origional “Alligator Walkin.” Check it out!
