I am a classically trained violininst/arranger. Left the Jacksonville Symphony to play bluegrass and folk on Madiera Beach/St. Pete, Fl. Then I was tapped for a TV series in Nashville, playing rhythm guitar. After that series was complete I was hired by Russ Jeffers, of Smoky Mountain Sunshine, to play Opryland and be a representative of the Opry around the US and Canada.
That is how Fred "Mickey" Finn heard of me, and invited me to join his long-running show in the Union Plaza Hotel showroom, in Las Vegas. I left the Mickey Finn Show to star in Bloopers, a Mickey Finn Production, on the Vegas strip.
After Bloopers, and traveling around the country performing, Ronnie David and I settled down in Houston to form Two For The Show Productions, where I wrote, produced and sometimes performed our jingles for major Houston companies.
Mickey Finn asked me to come back to Vegas to be an actress/singer/dancer/fiddler in his new production called Tom Foolery. I later joined a show called the All-American Folk Revival, in California. That group was later called the New Christy Minstrels.
I then was offered a job in Orlando, Fl. working at an entertainment complex called Church Street Station, at the Cheyenne Saloon - fiddling, and Apple Annies - singing harmonies.
Since then I have played strolling violin at country clubs around Naples, Fl, going table-to-table playing requests. And I am playing guitar and singing harmonies with a Naples trio.
Now Im arranging music, but I love being a sideman in any band. If you need a violinist/fiddler, I am your woman!
