Mac Manus is the most original celtic band in the celtic movement in Argentina, no doubt. The band sounds as a combination of traditional celtic music and a fusion with modern instruments near a rock sound and with own compositions. The band was formed in 2003, and today is formed with Diego Spinelli, flutes, vocals, Esteban D´antona, viola, Javier Muñoz, guitars, bouzuki, Sergio Maza, bass and Raúl Lazarte, drums. In his 8 years playing, Mac Manus made a several presentations in Buenos Aires and in other Argentina citys. In 2008 Mac Manus recording his first cd called “Under the Kilt”, where you can hear the particular sound, with traditional sets and irish ballads, in a traditional sound, with irish flute, whistle, bouzuki, violin, and in a rocker sound with drums, bass, and e guitars. Mac Manus shows are really a particular experience, very funny and powerful, where you can hear, rock arrengements of celtic songs, trad sets, jazz improvisations, and many many more.
