The 3 Ausmus brothers began playing at open mics in 2009 as the Brothers of Music, AKA the BOM!
Redline Alchemy arose from the ashes of the BOM like a fiery phoenix, and recorded their first acoustic album “Acoustica” in 2010. They elevated their game and were joined by David Janssen shortly after. Soon after David moved on to start the “nomad chapter” in Montana, the Ausmus bros met their first drummer Robby Foy at an open mic and began jamming with him, and the rest is history.
RLA’s first show as a 4 piece went down at Herman’s Hideaway. They were joined by music major Corey Golon who has toured with numerous bands and who helped define the Redline Alchemy sound even further. Alex Haney joined in to create a triple saxophone section and played several shows with Redline. After Robby and Alex left the band, a new alchemist joined forces with them (Nate Wilson) and the recording of the EP commenced.
Always at the core have been Joe, Danny and Nick Ausmus; rather than losing sight of the family band mentality they simply added Corey and Nate to that family, and the result is magical.
