GnE is the Groundbreaking Latin Pop, Latin Dance, duo made up by "GEMO GEEZY", a Salvadorean / American & "EDDIE-G", a Guatemalen born American, both raised in West Los Angeles, California. GnE is the most dynamic, high energy duo that has created there own genre, which can only be compared to Spanish R&B / Latin Pop.
GnE recently launched their first Pre-Release party, with the highly anticipated 15 track Mixtape "Sin Rivales" on November 25th 2011 at the heralded venue in Hollywood: Marbelas. GnE landed the score & soundtrack title on Mario Van Peebles "We the Party", set to be a major motion picture release April 6th. They have just performed at C.O.F.E.C.A with a 450,000 in attendance, Central American parade in Los Angeles, The Puerto Rican day festival, the Salvadorean American parade and perform at clubs about 8 times a month on an average...over 80 headlined performances, in over 70 venues in 2011-2012
They began their careers with a group called "Dinastia", put out one mixtape and went on tour when the group later broke up. GEMO & EDDIE-G wanted to keep this dream going when they met producer Eric Bomba Carlos and began recording at Sacrificio Music Studios. Gemo and Eddie G met back in 7th grade and attended the same high school (Alexander Hamilton High School), both playing on the same soccer team for many years. They are confident this will be the year the industry will consider GnE the hottest group on the west coast for Latin Dance, Latin Pop.
