Rae Rae / Bio

Rae Rae was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley outside Los Angeles CA. Though she was right next to Hollywood, she grew up in Northridge surrounded by orange groves and horses. Her sisters were musical and her mother was a country singer who put her dreams on the back burner, waiting tables so her girls could chase their dreams. Her father was a US Marine who provided for his family by swinging a hammer. When Rae Rae was 13 they came home with an acoustic guitar for her. She began writing songs....

Rae Rae's vocals have been featured on hundreds of songs including Uncle Kracker's hit single "Smile". She has sung duets with Kid Rock and toured the USA with Atlantic recording artist Ty Stone. She is currently featured on his upcoming album, "American Style". After spending time in Detroit and touring the South, Rae Rae realized her true musical path. Her new album, "Hard Times and Alcohol" is the culmination of her life's experiences. With the songs on this collection she has created her own unique blend of Country, Southern Rock and Motown Soul. The hard times and struggles which brought her here come through in the album's gritty honesty and truthful performances. She wants nothing more than to tell her story, make her mark and take her mother by the hand to say "We did it!" And all the hard times were worth it...
