Rev. Whiskey Richard & The Holy Smokes / Bio

Rev. Whiskey Richard & The Holy Smokes started in 2005 as a three piece consiting of.... The Rev. , Matt Kaufman , and Jason Vargas. They performed under the name Rev. Whiskey Richard & The Buster Hymen Band. The band decided to expand into a full stage act in 2007. Matt Kaufman left the band and was replaced by Joe Commings(bass). Johnny Gun(Guitar) and Hugh Abrahms(drums) joined the band to complete the new line up. In 2010 Hugh left the band for medical issue and we picked up Aaron Walker! The World Famous Bobby Carver(banjo) Joined in 2011 to add some hillbilly to the mix. Soon after Aaron Walker left the band and Donny O'Laughlin took over for A.W. Jason Varges left the band in early 2012. The band decide to change the tail end of the name due to no original member besides the Rev. Whiskey had made it to the year of Rock. Rev. Whiskey Richard & The Holy Smokes is now a high power american rock band with bits of country and blues dripping from the inside out..
