After a year off, Yukon based Paperscissor is hitting the studio and the road full force. Bassist, Josiah Tullis encountered a near death experience when he collapsed in the Denver Airport due to extremely low blood oxygen levels. After fighting for his life he is on the road to full recovery and the ability to write and perform again. We are grateful for your love and continued support

Yukon, Oklahoma is the last place you would expect to find an active synth pop artist but the vivid prairie sunsets, late night partying, and intense boredom fuel Paperscissor's dynamic '80s tinged pop sound and lead a cult following of youthful fans that are hungry for something bigger than small town life in Oklahoma.
The group is comprised of four long-time friends, singer Evan Crowley flanked by Jonathan King and Marcus Jackson rotating between synth and guitars, and Josiah Tullis on bass and drum programming.
Their shows, like their music, are dramatic, swaying between brooding introspective emotion and anthemic choruses washed in '80s textures and synths covering a steady electronic beat. Highlights include rhythms that beg listeners to dance and relatable lyrics that will hold your heart and fill your head.
The band has performed at SXSW 2011, 2012, 2013, and held opening spots for All American Rejects, Blue October, Horse Thief, and Colourmusic. They continue to perform at regional festivals each year including Center of the Universe Music Festival and Norman Music Festival.
Paperscissor is currently recording their debut album due out by the end of the year available online and in local retail locations.
