THE FOG plays high energy classic/modern rock, blues and southern/country rock songs from the late 60’s through today. THE FOG features music from a wide variety of bands and artists that includes Tom Petty, The Eagles, ZZ Top, Stone Temple Pilots, The Marshall Tucker Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynryd Skynryd, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cheap Trick, The Beatles, Jimi Hendris, Uriah Heep, Cream & Santana to create a dynamic musical experience while providing an irresistible beat that keeps the crowd on the dance floor!
The Fog is fronted by the excellent singing and lead guitar work of Danny Neal, while Rockin’ Robert Mead is the band’s multi-instrumentalist, playing awesome lead guitar long with keyboards and harmonica to give the band versatility in playing prime classic rock & roll cuts.
On bass guitar is PJ Chiarello, Robert’s best friend for 30 years and former band mate from their days in Sextant, a Kansas City based band, and Food for Thought, a Dallas/Ft.Worth jazz/rock/fusion quartet.
The Fog appears all over the DFW metroplex at the best live music venues such as Monte Carlos, The Boxcar Club, Strokers Ice House, Euless Yacht Club, The Blitz Sports Bra & Grill, Studers Lounge, Rockin’ Parrodise, Pappadeux’s, The Butcher Shop, Bronco’s Sports Bar, Tap-In Grill & Pub, The Water Hole, J. Gilligan’s, Topper’s Sports Bar, Chasers Lounge, Diamond Jim’s, Gator’s Grill and Bar, Big Barn Barbeque, Lynn’s Saloon, Stumpy’s Blues Bar and were a featured performer at Grapefest 2009 and 2011. The Fog also played Opening Night in October 2010 for the Allen Americans minor league hockey team at the Allen Event Center and also played the Texas Rangers Opening Day in Arlington at Pappadeaux's in April 2011.
