Originally from Concord N.C. and having roots in Hard and Progressive Rock I moved to Atlanta 1993 for School at AIM and musical opportunity. Influences: Geddy Lee, James Jamerson, Jaco, Rocco, Bella Fleck, Victor Wooten and Flea-variety-yeah come on!
Professional Electric Funk, Blues, R&B, Rock and Jazz Bass player with 20+ yrs of studio, touring and teaching experience. Graduate of The Atlanta Institute of Music with honors 1997. First call instructional Sub Bass Dept. for Adam Nitti at A.I.M., Taught with Cararee Music Doraville Ga, Music-Go-Round Alpharetta Ga. And was House Bassist for “Large Orange Productions” at Triclops Studios Marietta Ga.
Others I’ve worked and toured with include: The Barry Richman Band, Liz Melendez, Andrew Black, John McKnight, Cathy Carlisle, Mike Martin, Blues From Mars, Brian Doyle, The Mike Delaney Project, Tim Price, Chip Lundsford, Count M’Butu as well as numerous Corporate Bands and fill gigs.
Currently performing with The Rhythm Yard, Little G Weevil, The Mike Delaney Project and teaching beginning Guitar as well as theory, 4,5,6 string Electric Bass, how to chart music and reading for any level.
