Alison was recently described by Cabaret Scenes Reviewer Elliot Zwiebach as "a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice who transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with brilliant arrangements and vocal experimentation." No stranger to stages large and small, Alison toured for five years with the award-‐winning six-‐women world a cappella group, Vocolot, performing at venues ranging from Skirball Museum in Los Angeles to Lincoln Center in New York. She has also performed with major cover band and R & B acts at high profile events throughout California. In 2007, Alison was awarded "Best Female Blue Vocalist" on the Garageband website, and in 2009 she won "Best Crooner" at the San Francisco Cabaret Competition. Alison is additionally a seasoned session singer, providing vocal and/or arrangement work for artists in London, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. In 2009, Alison relocated from San Francisco to Los Angeles. An active community organizer, Alison volunteers her pipes at numerous hospitals and treatment facilities as well as has led major social service efforts across the United States and abroad. She also continues to do session work and live performances throughout California
