Milan and the Sour Goat / Bio

Milan and The Sour Goat is a New Jersey-based musical group whose self-described style is "Roots, Rock, Reggae With That East Coast Sound." The band is a modern rock sound that blends varying ethnic musical forms, solid lyrics that tell a story, and a live sound that focuses on jams, sing-along choruses, and classic-style guitar and drum solos.

Milan and the sour goat has opened for bands such as: The Offspring, Bob Marley's Wailers, George Clinton, Badfish, Marcy Playground, The Pilfers, and more. They also performed select dates on the 2009-2011 Vans Warped Tour. The band has worked with Anthony Krizan of The Spindoctors, Ras MG and Mike "Miguel" Happoldt (best known for their work with Sublime), along with Emmy and Grammy award winning producers. Lead singer, Milan Lazistan, also wrote and performed the theme song to the tv series "Body Shots" on MAVTV and, in 2013, ASP Surfer Taylor Knox's "Surfit".
