Cody McClaine / Bio

A member of the Raleigh-based disbanded group, Philosophy, and a member of the Los Angeles-based group, The Verified, Cody McClaine is a no-nonsense artist with the kind of mic presence and compositions that make him stand out from the rest. As a fan of Hip-Hop since his childhood, he has been honing his craft since 2000. After first recording material in 2002, much of his hard work surfaced in his first mixtape, "Late Blossom", up to his fifth mixtape, "Project DePina". As a member of The Verified, he has assisted on groupmate, Jabez, and AK's collaborative effort, "10 Pounds", their first mixtape, "From 2007...", and "The Two-thirds EP" alongside groupmate, Neighborhood Kenny (FKA Kenny L'amour). Material from the EP has been featured on "The Connection," which is a Hip-Hop podcast hosted, and mixed, by Lords of the Underground's DJ Lord Jazz. Cody has been featured on mixtapes by DJ Dr. Doom, M-Icy, Massiah, Alkaline, Sean Beastly, and Scarfoe.
