Mad Stone River / Bio

Mad Stone River (aka MSR) is an American, modern rock band, with classic hard rock roots and a light salting of southern and heartland rock, based out of Northwest Indiana.
The band got together for the first time in June of 2010 at a rehearsal studio in St. John Indiana. It has been eight years since songwriters Lange and Heartland have worked together; they parted ways after contract problems with a potential manager. Everyone in the band has been in and out of the music scene for the last 20 years.

Roger began his vocal career in Ragg Doll in the early 90's. In the late 90's, he was Lead Vocalist with Rachel's Demise, releasing "Psychotic Paradise" on Hypersoul Records in 2000. The Indie was distributed through M.A.D.

During the late 80's, Tom played with the Chicago metal band, Flashpoint, releasing one record on Randi Lyn Records. In the late 90's, he was also in Rachel's Demise. He currently plays with a local party rock band Beyond The Green Door. His passion for writing music has driven him to be a part of Mad Stone River.

David T. is a Bassist, well versed in multiple genres. He has performed with local and national artists such as Bobby Rush, and Phil Johnson, covering Blues, Rock, R&B,Jazz Fusion, etc. With years of experience both on stage and in the studio, he understands the importance of listening. David also created the music for a national radio commercial for the McDonald's Corp.
