The owner/ founder of Grind Lab Music Group, S.Ko has always been in love with the entertainment industry. Starting at young age while still in middle school, he started working on his craft as a songwriter but never really took it serious until high school. While still in middle school he began messing around with different softwares to record and make music with and quickly started understanding the ins and outs of the recording process. At that point he started recording his own music with some of his childhood friends, and they would spend all their free time just making music. By high school S.Ko had a little bit of buzz around him, and started doing local shows, and started to expose his music to the masses via the internet and any chance he would get to promote his material. S.Ko dropped out of high school while in 10th grade to pursue music full time. A close friend put him in contact with a couple people that wanted to help and manage him, so he took the opportunity and ran with it. For almost two years he was managed by Solid Gold Music. In 2009 everything changed, S.Ko was no longer being managed by the team at Solid Gold Music and he decided to take it upon himself to make things happen. With the help of his current manager and long time friend Oliver "Big O Stacks" Fernandez, S.Ko set out to make a name for himself and a new brand which would become Grind Lab Music Group. January 1st, 2010 S.Ko opened the doors to his new facility, a studio which would be open to all artist in the area looking to make music, and of course to work on his own music moving forward. On October 27, 2010 S.Ko dropped his highly anticipated official mixtape "Training Camp: The Mixtape" which featured aritsts like Cuddy, Young Snipe, Rilla, Big Floaty, Cyco Blac and Cano just to name a few. Great feedback was received on the mixtape, and S.Ko now has his second official mixtape out called Scared Money Don't Make Money. It's currently buzzing in the streets and on the internet, go get your copy now!!
