Linda Marlowe / Bio

Linda Marlowe is a classically trained singer and songwriter based in Long Island, NY. She has been singing and writing since her early childhood. Besides years of classical vocal training she has been a member of the Songwriter's Guild of New York. Linda plays guitar and piano, both of which she uses primarily in her songwriting. She has also studied acting under Sam Schacht. She has performed throughout the Tri-State area for several of the top music agencies with some of New York's finest musicians for a wide variety of private and corporate events, clubs and colleges. She has been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work the same venues with such legends as Tony Bennett, Liza Minnelli, and Patty LuPone to name a few. As a recording artist, in addition to recording her own material, Linda has worked on Jingles, industrials, background vocals for several artists, songwriter's demos as well as voice overs for various websites. She has also gotten great reviews including Billboard Magazine for her single Serious Crime, which was on daily rotation on college radio as well as her most recent single, Hallelujah, which is currently available at CDBaby ITunes, Amazon, etc.
