Day of the Crow are a Groove metal band formed 2008.The bands sound evolved very quickly drawing on many different influences including Pantera, Clutch, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God to name but a few.
Previous band experiences:
Alex Kelly - Played guitar for Primate and then Decimate who both released various recordings through Blackfish Records and Copro records, Alex also became stand in guitarist with seminal UK metal core band Stampin Ground, as a result went on tour in America and Europe playing along the way with God Forbid, Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, Agnostic Front, Shutdown and Ignite.
Dan Pickering - With being the guitarist and vocalist of Live Rounds has played shows around the local area for the past few years and Live Rounds have developed a good fan base playing their mix of rock and metal.
James Gardner - Played bass guitar in live rounds along with Dan Pickering. At present James is progressing through a music technology Roland degree course.
Matt Larkin - Played guitar and sang for local pop punk band Rictus who played several gigs around the vale and after the band members went their separate ways matt found himself taking a lot more interest in his other talent playing the drums.
Day Of The Crow are already writing new material and constantly refining their sound and musicianship and will continue to do so.
