Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers / Bio

Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers, a grand prize winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, has been pursuing his twin passions for words and music since he was a teenager. In addition to recording and performing his own songs, he is a contributor to NPR’s All Things Considered, founding editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine, and author of The Complete Singer-Songwriter and Rock Troubadours (which includes his conversations with Jerry Garcia, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Dave Matthews, and more). Rodgers' latest solos CDs are Stop, Drop, and Roll; and the acoustic Grateful Dead project Dead to the Core; and the DVD Learn Seven Grateful Dead Classics for Acoustic Guitar (Homespun).
