Since 2009, the men of Rise From Ruin haven’t stopped writing, recording, and producing their own songs, designing merchandise, and working furiously to build a web presence to go with their stage presence. Influenced by groups like Alterbridge, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin, these guys have an appetite for melodic hard rock. Rise From Ruin has lit up venues with the best bands Omaha has to offer, and in 2011 was tapped to open for Gavin Rossdale and his multi-platinum band, Bush. Whether in local bars or on the biggest regional stages, a Rise From Ruin show brings intensity and draws a crowd.
After months of work in the studio, the summer of 2011 saw the release of RFR’s debut album, featuring six tracks ready to make an impression. With irresistible hooks and stirring vocals, songs like “Poison H” get an audience’s feet and fists in the air. Now available on iTunes, CD Baby, and in local record stores, the self titled EP is quickly making its way into the homes and hearts of fans across the country.
Never the type to pretend to be something they’re not, the men of Rise From Ruin share a passion for truth, relationships, and creativity--and you’ll hear it in their music. RFR proudly mixes messages of authenticity with mainstream-friendly alternative rock, because they believe you don’t have to rewrite music history to say something timeless.
