Samuel Gregg is a St.Louis based singer-songwriter with a heart for musical genealogy. “I hope to influence listeners and writers to move forward by pointing to where we’ve come from…” says Gregg concerning his latest EP. The three song acoustic EP, “Wasting Daylight”, will focus on a live in-studio feel.
Missouri raised, Samuel cut his musical teeth on Bluegrass and folk-hymns.
“Playing on a Sunday afternoon with my PaPaw and dad was music to me for a long time.”, Samuel reminisces. This history remains to be available in his writing along with influences of idols Eric Clapton and The Band as well as contemporary artists like Amos Lee and Ray Lamontagne.
