I was born Willie Jerry Adams, September 9 in Gastonia, North Carolina. I have been involved in music most of my life. I am a Jazz, R&B, and Gospel artist. The development of my unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. This meant that I was always surrounded by different forms of music. My parents exposed me to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced my development as an artist. I am quick to point out that everything I listen to directs my musical development in some way.
I work as a solo artist. I play all the instruments you hear in my music like the drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keyboard, etc. My music draws from my life experiences. My music is all about telling a story. Some of those stories are meaningful, heartfelt, and serious but yet some reflect the fun-loving side of me. I never write a song that I can not relate to in some way, shape, or form. My music is a reflection of who I am.
I dedicate all my musical work to the memory of my parents and in honor of my family and friends. I want God to bless each and everyone for their love and support they have given me in my lifelong musical dreams. I will continue to follow Christ as he leads me in this musical journey.
