Originally from Fredonia, N.Y. playing and singing and playing guitar with friends was always fun. Moving to Austin Texas my music went a little further jammin with some texas boys which was just for haha's while we drank some beers. The best times were had in Austin seeing Stevey Ray Vaun play at the local clubs for $3.00 Robert Johnson would show and jam and Marcia Ball those were incredible shows. Anyway moving back east to Beacon my wife got a job at an art foundry where she over heard a conversation about starting a band so she told them her husband (me) played guitar and sang so we got together DAARC Ages was the name it was an acronym for our first names, we made 2 CD's which can be streamed or downloaded at www.soundclick .com/daarcages this lasted about from 1986 to 2000 when we disbanded I started to play at local open mikes and decided to do my own open jam at a local bar on saturday nights inviting my friends who played it has grow and flourished into one of the best jams in the area . Now on its tenth year still going strong with 10 to 25 musicians every second Saturday of the month.
