Swedish singer/songwriter Ulrika Ölund has been singing for as long as she can remember, she plays guitar and started writing her own songs at the age of 16. She's performed on national TV, national and international radio-stations and given many concerts across Sweden as well as abroad. Ulrika Ölunds music can be described as pop with a taste of country and reveals a world of highs and lows, love and heartbreak, leaving and staying, playing house and growing up.
Ulrika Ölunds debut EP "Memorylane" was released 2008. Two years later came the single "Sick And Tired" along with "Längtan Efter Något Större", her very first single in Swedish.
" I'm an undefeated dreamer and I believe that my music reflects that. I get inspiration from my surroundings, people I've met, books 'n movies and my own experiences. Words play a huge part in my music and I love colorful melodies."
Her latest single "Trains" was released in 2011 and has gotten airplay on P4 radio-stations across Sweden.
15 000 entries from 100 countries entered the International Songwriting Competition 2009 and Ulrika was selected as one of the semi-finalists in the Performance Category with her song "Unforgettable".
2012 Ulrika Ölund was selected once again as one of the semi-finalists, this time in the Unsigned Only Music Competition in USA among 7 000 entries from 80 countries.

Ulrika was born and raised in Undrom, Västernorrland, and is currently living in Gothenburg.
Her new single "Home" is coming out in June followed by the single "All That You've Got". Three months later her longed-for album "Paper planes and Skylines" it set to release (September 1st) and Ulrika's going on her Skyline tour, an acoustic solo-tour in USA.
