Brent's kudos include a 2005 Grammy listing for his song Hand of God,a spot on PBS's Texas Music Cafe, three songs on the soundtrack of the movie Partners in Crime songs recorded by Colin Boyd, and Bonnie Whitmore, has shared the stage and studio with a long list of the top country, Americana and blues acts over the years, and recorded with jazz bass player Drew Phelps on Phelps' debut, afterward performing with Drew in Texas and New York. He has played throughout the US, Mexico, and UK, and now resides in Kenosha where he has played and recorded with Folkswagon, Accoustic Soul, Kevin Grissom, and other artists.Paul Emersun writes songs, sings, is a superb guitar and bass player. He also plays piano, mandolin, and percussion. He performs solo and with a number of bands in a variety of genres. He records, teaches, and is a damn fine luthier as well. He has earned a well deserved reputation as the kind of musician who can walk into gig to play virtually any kind of music and play as well if not better than the well-rehearsed musicians that he accompanies. He has played with and written for a long list of bands throughout northern Michigan, the Chicago area, as well as in Kenosha where he now resides.
Brian is the consumate drummer. He teaches drums at the Music Conservatory in Kenosha. Brian has rcorded with jazz quartet OPUS, jazz guitarist Pete Billmann on (THE CONNECTION CD), with Milwaukee jazz musicians Mark Lewandowski on Bass and Pianist Doug Lady. He’s played with Jazz Legend Buddy Montgomery, and when not with the Brent Mitchell trio currently plays with: The Pete Billmann Jazz Trio, Ain't Misbehaving - a 5 piece variety band, and Crosstalk jazz quartet with Milwaukee vocalist Anita Stemper. He has been playing and doing drum clinics in the Milwaukee , Chicago area (30 years). He is also author of Applying Syncopation to the Drumset, and Advanced 4/4 Independence .
