Heather Hill / Bio

Rooted in piano pop, Canadian singer songwriter Heather Hill has two albums and is working on her next series of releases and third album. She recently released her Christmas song "What i love about Christmas" on December 24th, 2015 and her last FACTOR funded single and video, called Stupid Happy in 2014. Her voice has been compared to Kate Bush, and Christine McVie, while her songwriting has been compared to Tori Amos and a young Leonard Cohen.

Her sophomore album Leuty Station was launched in May 2012 with a CD release party to a full house at the Drake Hotel in Toronto. Hill quickly followed the success of the launch with a Canadian tour which included opening for an acoustic Treble Charger show and receiving media attention from CFRB In the Studio, Rogers Daytime Toronto, CBC Radio1, reviews and local features.

Leuty Station is a departure from her first album, Listen (2005), which was produced by Steve Addabbo of Shelter Island Sound (Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin) and Tony Conniff and released in New York. For Leuty Station, she chose highly regarded composer/vocal instructor/producer Orville Heyn (Telma Hopkins, Suzie McNeil, Mike Myers).
