Aoeria / Press

“Aoeria and their 2nd released CD, “Praise to All You Hear,” spins a collective mix of first rate Alternative Rock music. Frank Giliberti, who is the creative mind behind this album, is not only a singer/songwriter but plays the guitar, bass, and drums on the CD as well and as an added bonus, a guest spot from talented drummer Martin Atkins adds to the mix. Opening up the CD, “Dreams Fall Away,” hooks you in as the rocking beats bristles around the gripping vocals. Taking a mellower tone, the song, “Snow Drift,” grooves with a smooth free flowing feel as the rhythmic drums keeps a strong and solid beat. Another track, “All for You,” has an edgy rocking guitar that shreds some awesome power chords to the strong and powerful lyrics. If you like Smashing Pumpkins or Queens of The Stone Age, then you will really enjoy the outstanding songs on the album, “Praise to All You Hear.””

"Somber, seriously exciting and great, Praise to All You Hear by the New York band Aoeria is a selectio...n for true rock fans. With a somber voice, which becomes intentionally or accidentally changes tune in much of all the songs, but with great sound. In fact, listening to both Aoeria albums, which is well known and can very well say the band is, you know create a bright sound, not so fun to get to dance, but to enjoy in a dark atmosphere but not macabre. So, wait no longer now and get carried away by the guitars, bass and drums in each song purely addictive."

“Aoeria released the album "Waterwheel" in 2008. It is a collection of heady, heavy, gritty, yet straightforward alternative rock songs. The opener, "Apocrypha" begins with an exotic explosion of drums and guitars before reducing down to follow a strong bass line and somewhat frantic vocals. "Wonder" is more of a relaxed song, at least at first, as it focuses on guitar riffs and reflective vocals before sonic excitement takes over. In "Imminent" we find enlivened drums and guitars keeping up a quick pace in a real rocker of a song. This album is one that harks back to the days when alternative music was filled with fervent guitars and powerful drumming, while still having its own completely unique feel to it. Fans of the older Smashing Pumpkins material, and like music, should check out Aoeria's "Waterwheel." Sean B. and the RadioIndy Reviewer Team”

"Positive melodic rock band explores new avenues and expands rock music. Waterwheel meshes psychedelic textures & unique melodies with their brand of rock music. The debut album from this Long Island/New York City band features intense guitar rock along with introspective lyrics."
