Acoustic Wednesdays with Shorty
"A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed" is a music benefit for Kevin Byrnes, a friend of mine, who recently underwent Emergency Open Heart surgery. When this happened to Kevin I thought that being a Musician, the one way I knew I could help was to play a show and rally the community to help him during his recovery. We all need help in times of need. Kevin had a Collapsed Lung followed by an Aortic Valve Replacement, landing him in the Critical Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit for days. He is slowly recovering and through support of friends and family he is gaining much needed strength to return to work full time. It is a tough and stressful road. Your donations are needed and your karma is golden! In addition to music by Angie Goodale Band and Special Guests Sadie & Sariah, we are having a Silent Auction with services, products, and coolness donated by local businesses who have been amazingly generous. All ages Tickets $10 online http://xorbia.com/e/finfundraiser/ or at the door. To donate now, go to http://kbyrnes.chipin.com/kevin-byrnes.

“As Angie continues onward, I have no doubt she will have the group and sound that best fits her new material. I am glad they had me come out. I had a great time playing with the band that night and we here at The Backstage Beat wish her much success. Keep an eye open for Angie Goodale, Atlanta. Good things are around the corner for this singer-songwriter. ”
