“Angel City Rejects performed their Power Pop/Punk/Hard Rock. Angel City Rejects was Brian Riggins on vocals and bass, Scott Tiede on guitar, and Chuck McQuatters on drums. They are from Denver & Colorado Springs, but have captured the sounds straight out of 80′s L.A. They played all original songs, but you could hear the 80′s influences. Their theme seemed to be girls, girls, girls. They performed cool, catchy songs including Bring Me To My Knees, So Hot, and Pretty Tore Up. They also continued the party with Go Down, a summertime tune with tube tops and Daisy Dukes. The band went all the way with guyliner, tights, and long hair. They also played Don’t Cheat On Me, and a dirty little song that we’ll leave as the initials DTF. Their sex-driven lyrics reminded me of Steel Panther, but without all the jokes.
