“On January 9th, City Ventures introduces a new edge to the “City of the Arts” at the model grand opening for its collection of 36 innovative, energy-efficient homes, Costa Mesa West Place. This innovative and vibrant community, featuring solar-powered live/work lofts and townhomes, brings unique and stylish floor plans to those looking to live, work and play in the revitalized Costa Mesa west side. Festivities start at 11am with lunch catered by one of Orange County’s favorite food trucks, Dos Chinos. With its Asian and Mexican fusion cuisine, Dos Chinos is the perfect match for West Place’s blend of comfortable residences in a convenient urban setting. Local singer/songwriter Anesha Rose, of soulful “Music Mama” fame, will be performing 11am- 3pm, bringing Costa Mesa’s uniquely artistic character to the exciting, fun-filled event.”

“There’s something so endearing about watching five-year-olds dancing to a Beatles cover band, except maybe watching the grandparents sing along to those undying tunes from their childhood. Some of my other favorite live music hot-spots are Hotel Laguna, Hennessy’s and Mozambique, where Jason Feddy’s acoustic sets, Anesha Rose’s raucous covers of Janis Joplin and Nick I’s reggae-rock can be heard.”

“Anesha Rose of the Ken Garcia Band belts out a tune during the Blue Water Music Festival on Sunday at the Sawdust Art Festival grounds in Laguna Beach.”
