“Had the pleasure of seeing Al and his band in December. I couldn't stay long as I was catching a flight home later that night. What I witnessed stayed with me even on the flight. The band was tight and driving. Al was a force of nature I was not expecting. He seemed to look right through you when he sang, I have not seen a performer do this in this manner with rock music before. Usually the eyes are closed and starring at the instrument being played. The venue was not the best I have seen and Al and co out classed the joint a billion fold. I later looked him up on the net to find he has a cd out and I just downloaded it and It was great but not nearly as great as what I heard that night (I kick myself for not seeing the whole thing). If you are reading this Al, you are something else and I don't think people realize what your potential is, if you do at all..but let me say to anyone reading this, Al Mauro is hands down the best live act I have ever seen.”
"The Gentleman of Rock"
“EXCELLENT! I highly recommend Al Mauro's new release by the TMG label. The single "Don't Hold Back" Is fantastic! The overall CD has a very retro yet modern spin with a country, rock, alternative cross over edge that should have a little something for everyone. There are many standout tracks throughout the CD such as "Nightmare", "Symphony", "Midnight Blue", the brilliant "A New Song" and the amazing "What If". Every song has something to offer and Al's delivery of the material is profound, real and as sincere as it gets. The production at times seems to limit Al's potential to cut loose with abandon but when he does, it's earth shaking. His voice and manner is a different taste, Al Mauro brings something rare to the table, on a song like "Shangri - La" It's like he's singing his soul right to your face as if you were at a Broadway musical on overdrive yet by the time the CD is over, you get the sense he means it and you cant help but listen again and again.”
“NEW CD RELEASED! Itunes, Amazon and more!”
"As far as I'm concerned, Al's got the makings of a superstar in the world of rock, and the seeds of such things are sown with a hell of a debut album. Thumbs Up."
