Since cementing their lineup in the early months of 2015 A Gentleman’s Pact brought their brand of folk-punk to bars and small venues across Edmonton. Their biggest show to date includes a slot at the Landmark Events showcase at the Starlite Room where their showcase earned them Honorable Mention; quite a compliment considering the band had only been rehearsing as a cohesive unit for a couple months. Individual influences ranging from progressive rock, metal, folk, and punk blended together in the recording of A Gentleman’s Pact’s debut EP Sorry for the Mess I’ve Made. Recorded with Mack Behm and Owen Hamilton of Nothing Gold Can Stay, the album's lyrics deal with the trials and tribulations of growing up and the mistakes that they made in the process. Sorry for the Mess I’ve Made is to be released late summer 2015. The single, “Apologies, I Have Some” is available for streaming and download through bandcamp.
