Adam Evolving / Press

“Record opener ‘Creationism’ has an infectious riff, which grooves and smolders wonderfully. Rowan has got enviable supply of melodies in his locker, a swirling riff on ‘Eight Minds’ is no exception.”

“Hailing from Kansas City, Adam Evolving is representing one of the Midwest's largest cities very well. On their latest EP the band makes it clear that they understand the power a band must possess musically to really rock. "Eight Minds" is a good example of what I mean by Adam Evolving possessing the musical power to rock and roll. The aggressive guitar riffs and chunks of metal being thrashed into the listener's auditory system is what rock songs are all about. This song not only shows off Adam Evolving's experience and cohesiveness as a band, it is also a great representation of why these guys are worth checking out. The vocal performance is very strong and matches the intensity of the music, making for an awesome overall production.”

“Adam Evolving proved to be tough competitors by setting the bar high with their incredible vocals, funky drumbeats, wailing guitar riffs and vast bass lines..........”

“2013 Alternative Band of the Year Award Winner - Adam Evolving . . . . . . Nominees: Grenadina, Adam Evolving, Waiting on Forever, Alice Sweet Alice, Little Rosco, Get Busy Living, Radkey Silver Winner: Get Busy Living ”

"The first thing about this album is there was no “cheese” songs in the mix. Each song brought its own life, and variety to distinguish each one apart. The vocal tracks are thought out and solid. Mostly noticed was the fact that each song told a story and was not just thrown together to make another track available. Every song on the album the music creeps into you where you can relate and almost feel the pain of the reasons that the music was created." "One of the defining songs on the album is “Haunting” and could very well be a first mainstream type release for Adam Evolving. It has that catchy, wanna hear it again type sound that leaves you wanting more."
